Privacy

We collect nothing.

Bequest has no server, no account, and no analytics. There is no data for us to collect, sell, or lose — your vault is encrypted on your iPhone and never leaves it unless you export it yourself.

What we collect

Nothing. Bequest makes no network calls except Apple's App Store for purchases. There is no backend, no telemetry, and no third-party SDK.

Where your data lives

On your device, encrypted with AES-256-GCM, with keys held in the Secure Enclave. Backups and recovery kits are generated on-device and shared only by you.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple via StoreKit. We never see your payment details; entitlements are stored on your device.
